Happy New Year, everyone!
We will be kicking off 2016 with our first meeting of the year on Thursday, January 28, at 7:00 PM. Bring a devotional to share (300 words) or another piece of your choice. Look forward to seeing you all for our first meeting of the New Year.
The Word Weavers International and Tampa groups have invited Brandon Christian Writers and any other writers to attend this great upcoming workshop.
Eva Marie Everson presents a workshop using film techniques to create memorable fiction. The techniques you will learn can apply to novels and stories, non-fiction and articles. Learn to share stories in more effective ways. The workshop is December 5 between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm, and the cost to attend is $30.
Please email Sharron Cosby
if you’d like to attend the event. Advance registration is required because the group is supplying food.
We are looking forward also to seeing everyone at our November 19 meeting for Brandon Christian Writers this month (3rd Thursday rather than 4th because of holidays).

This month we’ll be hearing from author, blogger, and workshop presenter Andy Lee
. The event begins at 7:00 PM, but BCW members will be at the church by 6:00 PM for coffee, tea, and fellowship beforehand. If you plan to arrive early, please feel free to bring snack items as well.
Also, please be sure to share this event with your friends and anyone else who may be interested in attending. Andy Lee’s message is applicable to everyone, not just writers.
We’re looking forward to see you there.
Monday, March 2, at 7:00 PM
We hope you can come out and support our own Debora Coty during her book signing on Saturday, October 11, at Brandon LifeWay Christian Store.
Brandon Christian Writers will have a display table (or two+) at the Brandon Arts Council “Meet the Authors” event on Sunday, October 12, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. The meeting will be in the garden at Perfect Pieces Boutique, 585 S. Kings Avenue in Brandon.
Enjoy desserts, network with other writers, expand your exposure, and sell some books.
Volunteers are needed to represent those BCW authors unable to attend. Please contact us
with your availability to attend and help.
