Christian Writers Guild Publishing

Jerry Jenkins of Christian Writers Guild announced today a new plan for aspiring Christian authors. His message is below.

I Want to Publish Your Book

In more than a decade we at CWG have brought several hundred students to the point where they should be published, but the industry has changed so dramatically that it’s nearly impossible, even for them, to get in the door at a traditional publisher.

Many asked if they should self-publish. But I’m on record–in my Writing for the Soul book and at countless conferences–as having a “Quarrel with Self-Publishing.” I considered it merely paying to be printed, and the poorly edited and shoddy looking products that resulted from it seemed to prove my point.

But I’ve had a change of heart.

Who am I to say you shouldn’t be published just because you may not have a platform, that built-in audience commercial publishers demand?

So I started noodling how the Christian Writers Guild could publish deserving authors while avoiding that telltale self-published look. What could we offer that would be unique in the new, noisy publishing landscape?

I landed on CWG Publishing (CWGP) where, if you complete a six-month, mentored course called Published, we will publish your book and do it right.

Imagine yourself a published author, signing books for your readers, being interviewed by the press, being asked to speak, and, who knows?, perhaps making the bestseller list.

Check out the video for all the details, then let us know when you’re ready to get started on a whole new chapter in your life.
